Give Back in Parker’s Name

Current Donation: Kaiser Santa Clara PICU Playroom Wishlist

After the wonderful experience giving back to Kaiser Santa Clara, we continue to want to make a difference in their hospital community. They have a playroom open to sick pediatrics children where they can escape from their medical routines and just play. The Child Life Specialist, who manages the room, needs help stocking the room to be incredible. We have her wish list, let’s get her everything that she wants for the kids! When you gift, let them know it’s in memory of Parkie!

About the beneficiaries

  • Provides comprehensive care for children from birth to age 18. During our 7 week stay, Parker was cared for as if each doctor, nurse and specialist was a parent of hers. There were countless times when the team went out of their way to make an impossible situation more bearable. In addition to caring for Parker, they were focused on unique ways to create a positive environment for our 2-year-old daughter Navy when she visited.

  • Those afflicted with Bacterial Meningitis rarely escape long-term impairments of the brain. These impairments are called Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). A brain injury can change the way a person moves, talks, thinks, and acts. It can lead to physical, communicative, cognitive, and behavioral impairments – some of which are lifelong, and all of which require intensive therapy to overcome. With your help, we can create a better future through research, education, and advocacy on a national scale.

  • To introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture. NILMDTS remembrance photography validates the existence and presence of these precious babies by honoring their legacy. NILMDTS recruits, trains, and mobilizes professional quality photographers around the world. Through NILMDTS, medical personnel are given a meaningful option to offer bereaved parents by creating remembrance portraiture for their babies.
